James T. Borello & Co. is a tax and investment consulting firm in East Dundee, Illinois. We provide tax preparation and advisory services to over 2,500 clients and provide investment, retirement, and estate planning services to more than 500 clients.

Our approach is to obtain a clear understanding of each individual client's financial situation, develop and agree upon each client's long-term financial goals, create and implement a financial plan that is focused on accomplishing those goals, provide on-going monitoring of the plan, and to recommend changes as needed to ensure the plan continues to stay focused on the client's goals. This approach requires that we develop a hands-on partnership with each client.

Our History

James Borello started James T. Borello & Co. in 1975. His interest in helping people with their taxes and investments inspired him to start the company. Since that time the company has grown to 2,500 clients. James attributes its success to the personal service offered to clients.
